Jenise Madden Named MASCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. --For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Jenise Madden has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) GEICO Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Jenise Madden has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) GEICO Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. GEICO is the proud sponsor of the MASCAC weekly awards program.

Madden placed fourth out of a field of 122 runners at the Western New England Invitational this past weekend. The Milford, Massachusetts product completed the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:54.

Madden also received the honor back on September 17th for her performance at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.

Following an off weekend, Madden and her cross country teammates will compete at the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Championships hosted by MCLA on Saturday, October 27th.
