Jenise Madden Named MASCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Jenise Madden has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) GEICO Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. GEICO is the proud sponsor of the MASCAC weekly awards program.

Madden placed 17th out of a field of 318 runners at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational this past weekend. The Milford, Massachusetts product completed the five-kilometer layout in a time of 19:06.96.

Following an off weekend, Madden and her teammates will compete at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI on Saturday, September 29th.
