BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the third time this season, Bridgewater State University senior Cailey Simard has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Simard broke her own school record and placed first in the one-meter diving competition this past weekend at the BSU Invitational. The Haverhill, Massachusetts product registered 339.85 points in the six-dive event as she surpassed her previous mark of 320.90 points established in 2024.

Simard also placed second on the three-meter board at the meet with a score of 267.70 points.

The LEC Diver of the Week honor marks the 27th of Simard's career. The three-time Little East Diver of the Year also garnered the accolade seven times last season, nine times in 2023-2024 and eight times as a rookie in 2022-2023.

The BSU women's swimming and diving team is off until after the New Year when the Bears host a tri-meet with Brandeis University and Keene State College on Saturday, January 17th.
