Cailey Simard Garners CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight year, Bridgewater State University diver Cailey Simard has been named as a First Team Scholar All-American for the 2025-2026 season by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight year, Bridgewater State University diver Cailey Simard has been named as a First Team Scholar All-American for the 2025-2026 season by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, a student-athlete must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a “B” time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
A native of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Simard was a standout in the classroom, finishing with a 3.911 cumulative grade point average, graduating early and starting her graduate studies this past spring semester. The kinesiology major earned a perfect 4.0 during the Fall 2025 semester.
Simard helped the BSU women's swimming & diving team place third at the Little East Championships this past February. She captured Little East Diver of the Year honors for the fourth straight season as she placed first on both the one-meter and three-meter boards also for the fourth consecutive year.
A five-time LEC Diver of the Week recipient in 2025-2026, Simard competed at the DIII Northeast/North Regional Diving Championships for the fourth straight season (placing third on the one-meter board) and qualified for the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships for the second consecutive year.
