BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Sienna DeLucia has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Rookie Diver of the Week.

DeLucia placed second in the one-meter diving competition this past weekend against Wheaton College. The Wallingford, Connecticut native posted a six-dive score of 236.70 points in her collegiate debut.

The LEC Rookie Diver of the Week honor marks the first of DeLucia's career.

The BSU women's swimming and diving team is back in action on Sunday, November 9th when the Bears head to Saint Michael's College for a tri-meet with the host Purple Knights as well as the Mariners of Maine Maritime Academy.
