Boutilette scored 13 points to go along with eight rebounds, four assists and four steals in an 87-55 rout of Salem.  She also notched 14 points and four steals in the Bears’ 65-51 MASCAC-clinching victory at Worcester.  Boutilette capped off the week with 16 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in addition to four assists and seven steals in a 91-54 blowout at MCLA.  The double-double marked the 11th of her career.

Through 24 games this season, Boutilette is averaging 12.8 points to go along with 8.3 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 1.5 blocked shots.  She ranks among the Division III leaders with a 588 field goal percentage (130-221), and also lists in the top twenty with her 3.9 steals per game.

Boutilette currently leads the MASCAC in field goal percentage and steals.  She also ranks third in both rebounding and blocked shots and 11th in scoring.  Her 93 steals are second only to Melissa Murphy’s single-season program mark of 106 set in 2005-2006.

In 78 career games over her first three seasons with the Bears, Boutilette has amassed 753 points, 600 rebounds, 161 assists, 233 steals and 83 blocked shots.  She is also a career 53.5% (313-for-585) shooter from the floor.

Boutilette is presently ahead of Bridgewater State Hall of Famer Cathy Baker’s (1982-85) all-time team field goal percentage mark of 51.2%.  She is also just one of five players in BSU women’s basketball history to reach the 600-rebound milestone.

The Bridgewater State women’s basketball team wrapped up regular season play with a 21-3 record including an 11-1 mark in conference play.  The Bears captured their second straight MASCAC regular season title and sixth overall.  BSU also reached the 20-win plateau for the third time in the Bridgett Casey era and seventh time in program history.

Bridgewater enters this week’s MASCAC Tournament having won nine straight games and 15 of the last 16.  After a first round bye, the top-seeded Bears will host a semifinal game against either #4 Framingham State or #5 Fitchburg State.
