Trevor Wysong Named MASCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Trevor Wysong has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Wysong captured the individual title to lead the BSU men's cross country team to a first place finish at the season-opening Roger Williams Invitational this past weekend at Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island. The Taunton, Massachusetts product covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 16:23.71 as he outdistanced a field of 37 harriers.

Following an off weekend, Wysong and his teammates will compete at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 15th.
