CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's outdoor track & field season came to an end Thursday night at the MIT Final Qualifier.
Four members of the Bears' team took part in the meet, which was held at Steinbrenner Stadium/Morrison Track.
Senior Ryker King (Wareham, Mass.) was in a pair of events for BSU.
King finished third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.32 seconds. He had placed fifth in the preliminary race in 15.29.
In the 400 hurdles, King crossed the finish line in a PR of 55.36 seconds for ninth place.
Junior Aydan Fournier (Assonet, Mass.) was 11th out of 23 runners in the 800 with a personal-best time of 1:52.86.
Graduate student Landon Crowley (West Bridgewater, Mass.) was in a pair of events.
Crowley was 15th in the 200-meter race in 22.40 seconds and 20th in the 100-meter dash preliminary in 11.27.
In the final event of the season for BSU, senior Kyle Ackroyd (Charlestown, R.I.) was ninth in the 5,000 with a time of 15:30.90.
The winner was Fitchburg State freshman Paulino Guevara Mateo with a time of 14:17.13.
