Stalters Finishes 12th in the Javelin at NCAA Championships

ROCHESTER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior Corey Stalters (Norton, Mass.) finished 12th in the javelin at the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex on the campus of St. John Fisher University.

Stalters connected on his first throw for a distance of 188 feet, five inches (57.44) and then fouled on his second attempt. On his third and final toss, the Norton, Massachusetts product hit for 195 feet, six inches (59.58m).

The top nine student-athletes who advanced to the finals in the javelin also posted throws over 200 feet. Sophomore Will Lawrence of Wisconsin-Platteville captured the national title with a mark of 236 feet, eight inches (72.14).
