Ellie Moberg Named MASCAC Field Hockey Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman forward Ellie Moberg has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week.

A native of North Reading, Massachusetts, Moberg tallied the first two goals of her collegiate career last week in the Bears’ 10-4 win over UMaine-Farmington.

The MASCAC Rookie of the Week honor marks the first of Moberg's career.

The BSU field hockey team is currently 2-0 on the young season. The Bears travel to UMass Dartmouth on Thursday night for a seven o'clock game with the Corsairs.
