Abbott Places 4th, Desmond 8th at IHSA Zone 1 Championships

Senior Emily Desmond (Braintree, Mass.) kicked off the day in Limit Over Fences, putting in a lovely ride aboard Ronaldo and finishing eighth in her class.
Junior Abigail Abbott (Wareham, Mass.) closed out the competition in Open Flat, securing an impressive fourth place with a stellar ride on Scarlett.
The top two placewinners in each event advanced to nationals.
The Bears officially wrapped up the 2025-2026 season today, and the coaching staff and student-athletes couldn't be more prouder of the two riders for representing the team so well in such a competitive field.
