BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the fourth time this season, Bridgewater State University senior Naomi Cass has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Cass placed 34th out of 261 runners in the Caroline Grape '22 Memorial Blue Championship Race this past weekend at the Connecticut College Invitational held at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Connecticut. The Westport, Massachusetts product completed the six-kilometer course in a collegiate-best time of 21:36.8.
A two-time NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships participant, Cass has earned MASCAC Runner of the Week honors 14 times over the course of her illustrious career.
The BSU women's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, November 1st when the Bears head to Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts for the MASCAC Championships.
