Naomi Cass Named MASCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University senior Naomi Cass has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Cass placed 32nd out of a field of 275 runners this past weekend at the 52nd UMass Dartmouth Invitational. The Westport, Massachusetts product completed the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:29.13. 

A two-time NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships participant, Cass has earned MASCAC Runner of the Week honors 12 times over the course of her illustrious career.

The BSU women's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, October 4th when they travel to Keene, New Hampshire for the Keene State Invitational.
