Football Reports for Preseason Camp

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University football began preparation for the 2018 season as over 100 players reported to preseason camp on Friday morning and hit the practice field for the first time later in the afternoon.

Head Coach Joe Verria's Bears open the 2018 campaign on Saturday, September 1st when they host Buffalo State for a noontime non-conference game against the Bengals.

Following a trip to Endicott College on Friday, September 7th (7:00 PM), the Bears open Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) play on the road against rival Framingham State University on Saturday, September 15th at noon.

The 2018 Homecoming Game on Saturday, October 13th (4:00 PM) will feature MASCAC opponent UMass Dartmouth.

Once again, the season culminates with the annual Cranberry Bowl game against MASCAC rival Mass. Maritime Academy. The 40th version of the Cranberry Bowl will take place at Swenson Field on Saturday, November 10th at noon.
