BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Seven members of the Bridgewater State University baseball team have earned All-Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference honors.
Five of the players -- junior Rylan Secovich (Southwick, Mass.) plus seniors Joshua Selander (Granby, Conn.), Ryan Flaherty (Duxbury, Mass.), Trey Yesu (Monson, Mass.) and Matt Kustigian (Charlton, Mass.) -- made the first team.
Earning spots on the second team were senior DJ Prampin (Worcester, Mass.) and junior Benjamin Sepeck (Whitman, Mass.).
BSU's Greg Zackrison was also honored as the MASCAC Co-Coach of the Year.
The Bears (27-8) won the MASCAC regular-season championship for the fifth straight year with a 21-3 record.
BSU is the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament as it seeks a fifth straight title. The Bears host either Anna Maria College or Westfield State University on Thursday at 3 p.m.
Secovich, a transfer from Dean College, is the leadoff hitter and center fielder for BSU.
He leads the team with a .418 average, getting 56 hits in 35 games with five doubles and four triples.
Secovich has set the BSU record for stolen bases in a season, going 38-for-43, to break the mark of 37 set in 2003 by Jason Arraiol.
Nationally, Secovich is sixth in Division III in stolen bases and stolen bases per game (1.09). He also has a .487 on-base percentage.
At Dean, Secovich set records for hits in a season (55) and stolen bases in a season (30) and career (44) while playing two years.
Selander is batting .365 in 34 games with 44 hits, including six doubles and a homer, and has driven in 28 runs.
The first baseman has a .434 on-base percentage and a .539 slugging percentage. In 136 career games, Selander has 134 hits with 99 RBI and a .322 average.
Flaherty, who also made the all-conference first team in 2025, is batting .344 with 45 hits, including three homers. The third baseman has driven in 39 runs and has a .426 on-base percentage.
A transfer from Stonehill College, Flaherty ranks third among the Bears' all-time leaders with 26 home runs as well as second in runs batted in (148) and tied for fourth in extra base hits (54). He set the school single-season record for home runs with 17 in 2025.
In 122 games at BSU, Flaherty has 152 hits, including 28 doubles, and is batting .332.
Yesu, who made the All-MASCAC second team a year ago, has started nine games and is 4-3 with a 3.93 earned run average.
He has three complete games and 38 strikeouts. In 46 games at BSU, Yesu is 18-12 with a 3.72 ERA and has 168 strikeouts.
Kustigian has made 14 appearances out of the bullpen and is 5-0 with a save. In 34 2/3 innings, he has a 1.30 ERA.
Prior to this season, Kustigian has appeared in 20 games and was 1-2.

Prampin, the right fielder, is hitting .285 with 101 RBI in four seasons at BSU.
Twice this season, Prampin hit walk-off home runs to give the Bears victories. He did it at Myrtle Beach, S.C., in an 8-7 win over Immaculata on March 9 and in an 8-6 victory over Salem State on April 7.
Sepeck, the Bears' designated hitter, had played just 23 games and had nine hits in his first two seasons.
This spring, Sepeck has 42 hits in 34 games and is batting .365.

He shares the Coach of the Year award with Salem State University's Andrew Gummow. Zackrison was also Coach of the Year in 2022.
The Bears have either won outright or shared the MASCAC title five straight seasons. The conference record is six consecutive titles by Bridgewater State from 1988-93.
The Bears are the only program with four straight tournament championships.
This season, BSU had a 16-game winning streak that is the second-longest in program history.
Sophomore Nate Kaczynski of Mass. Maritime was voted the MASCAC Player of the Year while Salem State's Nolan Currier was selected as the Pitcher of the Year and Maritime's Aidan McCarthy garnered Rookie of the Year honors. Salem State skipper Andrew Gummow shared Coach of the Year accolades along with Zackrison.
