A native of Ludlow, Massachusetts, Robitaille placed second at the Holy Cross Heptathlon this past week as she recorded a score of 3,960 points which topped all Division III competitors at the meet.

Robitaille placed third in the javelin (96’2.00”), fourth in the 800-meter run (2:34.08) and fifth in the shot put (27’5.50”) during the heptathlon.  She also finished sixth in both the 100-meter hurdles (16.52 seconds) and the long jump (16’7.25"), tied for tenth in the high jump (4’9.00”), and posted an 11th place showing in the 200-meter dash (27.94 seconds).

Robitaille currently owns the fourth-highest heptathlon score in the latest Division III New England rankings, and is ninth in the ECAC Division III rankings and tenth on the Open New England (NEICAAA) chart.

Through the first five meets of the outdoor season, Robitaille has qualified for the New England Division III Championships in four events; the 100 and 400-meter hurdles, the triple jump and the long jump.

In four seasons on the BSU women’s track & field teams, Robitaille has set four school records including three indoor marks (long jump, triple jump, pentathlon) and one outdoor (triple jump).

Robitaille also competed on the Bears’ women’s soccer team during each of the last three seasons.  She appeared in 50 career games as a defender and midfielder, notching two goals and two assists.

The outdoor campaign continues for the BSU track and field teams on Saturday as the Bears will compete at the MASCAC and New England Alliance Championships hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday.
