BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – The Bridgewater State University women's swimming and diving team has been honored as a Scholar All-American team by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Bears are one of the more than 700 NCAA, NAIA or junior college teams to be recognized for their academic excellence in the classroom.
This marks the first time in the 95-year history of the CSCAA that more than 700 teams have received Scholar All-America recognition. In total, 720 teams, representing 443 institutions achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the Spring 2017 Semester.
