BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - Bridgewater State College senior forward Kaitlin Lamothe has been selected as the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
Lamothe netted five goals and added an assist for 11 points as the Bears posted wins over UMass Dartmouth and Worcester State College last week. She notched a hat trick in BSC's 5-3 victory over the Corsairs and followed that up with a two goal, one assist performance in a 3-1 triumph over the Lancers.
A native of Wrentham, Massachusetts, Lamothe moved into sixth place on the Bears' all-time scoring list as she now has 52 career points (23 goals, 6 assists) in just two seasons at BSC.
In nine games this season, Lamothe has scored 12 goals and assisted on four others. She is currently second in the MASCAC in both goals scored and points (28), and is tied for sixth in assists.
The BSC women's soccer team is 6-2-2 on the season and tied for second place in the MASCAC standings with a 3-1 conference mark.
